How to Create a Single Type of Metadata for an OpenEdition Contract

Visit https://launchpad.collectify.app/#/metadata.

  1. Select the network for your Metadata collection and connect your wallet.

    Click the ‘+ Add New’ button to access the Metadata creation page.

  2. Fill in your collection name and upload an image for your NFT when it is unrevealed.

    Click ‘Create’ to complete the process.

  3. On the detail page, choose 'Type: Single' to create a single type metadata collection. This means all NFTs in the collection will have the same metadata as ID#0.

    For Reveal Status, 'Unreveal' means your NFTs are not publicly visible. Only the collection name and unrevealed image will be visible when searching by tokenID.

    'Reveal' status means all your NFTs are publicly visible.

    By default, the Reveal Status is set as 'Unreveal'. When you are ready, change the status to 'Revealed' and click 'Save'.

  4. Go to the tab ‘Metadata’ and click ‘+ Add New’ to create metadata for your NFTs.

  5. You can input the metadata manually or use templates to apply existing information and make necessary changes.

    Once done, click ‘Create’ to finalize the process.

  6. Under the tab ‘Metadata’, you will find the metadata for ID#0.

    Click the link icon to view the metadata. In the unreveal status, you can only see the collection name and unrevealed image. After revealing it, you will have access to the full information. This metadata collection will have infinite IDs for you to create an OpenEdition contract, and all the IDs will share the same metadata.

    You can also click the edit icon to modify your metadata.

  7. On the left menu bar, click 'Metadata' to see all the metadata collections you have created under your wallet address.
